Ask AI Pilot

Open Pilot

• Computer: AI Pilot is in the FantasyPilot side panel in Chrome, beside every page. If you close it, the chat docks in the app with a note; select Open side panel to move it back.
• Phone: tap the AI Pilot button above the tabs. It opens full screen.
• Tablet: tap the AI Pilot button. It docks on the right.

What to ask

Rosters, matchups, trades, waivers, drafts, league chat, bylaws, LeagueSafe payments, projections and dynasty values. Pilot shows which tools it used under each answer.

Past chats

When you come back within 10 minutes, Pilot reopens the chat you were in. Later than that, Pilot starts fresh and lists up to 5 recent chats under Continue a recent chat.

Select the search icon to find any past chat. You can rename or delete chats there. Select + for a new chat.

Edit a question you sent

1. Select the pencil beside your message. On a computer it shows when you point at the message.
2. Change the text.
3. Select Save, or press Cmd+Enter (Ctrl+Enter on Windows).

Tip

Saving removes everything after that message and Pilot answers again. Esc or Cancel keeps the original.

Queue your next question

While Pilot is answering, type your next question and press Enter. It waits in Queued above the box and goes out when the answer ends, one at a time.

• Drag to change the order, or select a question to edit it.
• Send now (↑) sends it next. × removes it; Clear removes them all.
• Stop ends the current answer. Queued questions wait until you send one.
• The queue is kept in this browser tab only.

Attach images and files

1. Select the paper clip inside the message box, or paste or drop a file onto it.
2. Pick up to 4 images or files (PDF, text or CSV).
3. Type your question, or send the files on their own.

Tip

Images can be up to 800 KB each and other files up to 5 MB. Select × on a chip to remove it.

Dictate a question

1. In the side panel on a computer, select the mic inside the message box.
2. Speak. You’ll see a timer and ‘Listening…’.
3. Select ✓ to stop. Your words appear in the box — check them, then send.

Chrome recognises your speech on your computer; the audio isn’t sent anywhere and isn’t kept. The in-app chat has no mic.

Ask Pilot to change something

Ask AI Pilot to accept a trade, add a player or set your lineup, and it does it on Sleeper, then tells you what it did.

Tip

Asking about a change (“Should I accept?”) gets advice only. AI Pilot changes something only when you ask it to.

Keyboard shortcuts

• ↑ at the start of the message box highlights the last message.
• ↑ and ↓ move through messages and queued questions; ↓ past the last goes back to the box.
• E edits your highlighted message, or puts a queued question back in the box.
• Esc goes back to the message box.
